This sounds like a really amazing event and I hope that everyone in the L.A. area will hear about what looks to be a really special evening.

David Engel alone is worth the price of admission.

I definitely agree about David. I saw Side by Side By Sondheim twice, the second time because David was performing that week, and as I'd expected, he was MUCH better than Davis Gaines. And what about Jason Graae. Another one worth the price of admission. Plus Loretta Devine (listed at Gold Star as performing.) And...Deborah Gibson, Patrick Cassidy, Penny Fuller, and for those who haven't discovered her yet, the luminous Michelle Duffy. Don't want to miss this one! Updated On: 5/18/05 at 08:29 PM
