Has anyone gone to Broadway on Broadway? I was thinking of going on Sunday and I wanted to know if is it worth the trip. Also does anyone know if they have seats or is it SRO.

Scheduled to appear:

Avenue Q, Beauty and the Beast, The Color Purple, The Drowsy Chaperone, Hairspray, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, The Producers, Rent, Spamalot, Tarzan, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Wedding Singer, and
Wicked

with sneak previews of Les Misérables, High Fidelity, Grey Gardens, Jay Johnson: The Two and Only, and The Times They Are A-Changin'

There have been several threads on this so someone is definitely going to tell you to go use the search feature. That said, I don't get along with the search feature myself, so I will tell you that others have said it is a great event and lots of fun. I have never been but am looking forward to going on Sunday. There are no chairs . . . some people said that they bring chairs with them for before the show starts but that if you sit during the show you won't be able to see anything since everyone around you will be standing.

Hope that helps!

Oh, and directorkid, I don't think there has been a list posted of who is performing what. I believe there were some speculations in a previous thread, but you will have to make friends with the search feature for that one!

"I wrote a book: "How to Be Popular". Now I've put together a top ten list of how to help you: -Elphie, everyday... shower. I mean, who knows? Maybe some of that green is gonna come off! -Deodorant Elphie. No body likes a stinky witch! -I think we've covered the hair, we'll get to that. -Clean underclothes. That's all I'm gonna say. -Look at your posture. That's no way to be popular! -Bed made, room straightened. We've done that. -Colors blended. Oookay. -But the most important thing to have, to make yourself popular, is to keep your beautiful smile." ~Kristin Chenoweth in her last performance of the song "Popular"
