Has anyone seen Brooke in WT who previously saw Donna? I would love to hear opinions. (I saw Donna and am very hesitant to see anyone else)

I'm the same way!!! Donna Murphy was so amazing, that I'm really hesitating whether I should go to see it with Brooke Shields or not. Although I am curious to see what its like.
The character officer Longagon (sp?) in Wonderful Town is named Timothy Shew and his son goes to my school. I talked to him today and he said that Brooke was also doing a good job, that made me think that I might like it if I go see it. I don't think that anyone could do a better job than Donna Murphy, ever!

I saw both, and it's still absolutely worth seeing--for a variety of different reasons--with Brooke. I was listening to some of the OCR with Rosalind Russel the other day and Brooke's Ruth seems much closer to that in spirit. (Which feels like heresy to say b/c Donna's a genius, but it's true!)

I have also listened to the cd with Rosalind Russell, and I was thinking that Brooke Shields might perform it more like her. Donna Murphy is a genius. I don't know how she does it. She has such an amazing voice! I've heard that Brooke Shields can sing but not as well as Donna Murphy.

Brooke may not have as strong vocal chops, but she has really has brought a vunerabilty to the role that makes up for it.

I'm glad to hear that. Even though I'm sad that Donna Murphy still is no longer in Wonderful Town, I'm happy that the show is doing well because its such a fun amazing show.
