Well, as I am sure many will say, it was kind of inevitable. But definitely a shame, a lot of good talent performs up on that stage every night.

Nobody involved with BROOKLYN should feel anything but gratitude for being able to ride the coat tails of this show for such an incredibly unexpected long run.

The cast wins. The writers win (especially because this is probably going to be the next GODSPELL at community theatres throughout the country over the next few years). They've all been very lucky to have some producers with deep, committed pockets.
