Okay, see, this is a shill. Please take note. Notice how they joined today just to post about some obscure show no ones ever heard of. Talk about how great it is and how they're excited about the cast. Some of the more recent accusations... not so much.

Catch-22 was a great book in its day, nearly 50 years ago now. Not so sure how much of the satire holds up today.

I found it pretty darn funny still.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

figured i'd give this a bump now that previews have started to see what anyone who's seen the show thought about it ...

I agree that the initial post was from a shill. However, I take major issue with the person who posted the follow-up message, saying that this is an "obscure" title that no one's ever heard of. If you think Catch 22 is "obscure", you need to go back to high school and try to graduate.

Catch 22 is one of the most significant titles of the 20th Century. Time Magazine has this as one of the top 100 English language novels, and the Modern Library ranks it Number 7 by a review panel, and Number 12, by public poll.

This stage adaptation is apparently by Joseph Heller himself.

First poster a shill? Absolutely.
Obscure title? Absolutely not.
