A friend of mine just told me that CATCH ME IF YOU CAN in Seattle was really better than the production now in previews on Broadway. What do you think?
Surprisingly, I have heard the same exact thing from my friends who saw it in Seattle.
I thought the Seattle version was incredibly bland. I'm seeing the show tomorrow night, so I hope this isn't true.

Yeah I haven't seen it since Seattle...I'll be sure to give my thoughts when I see it here.

I saw it in Seattle and found it fun, and ultimately utterly unmemorable. To me, from all I've read, the show sounds to be basically the same now, albeit maybe a bit titghter, so if anything better, but not much.
Isn't the set design a bit different than it was in Seattle?
The only thing that was better in Seattle was Kerry Butler's character. Beyond that, the Broadway version is noticeably better.
Was there more Kerry Butler in the Seattle version?
Brenda was fleshed out a little bit more, from what I remember. The Broadway set is also very different from the Seattle set.
Yeah I saw different photos of the sets from both Seattle and the Broadway version...and I am not quite sure which one I like more. It seems as if the set they have now on Broadway is a bit bland and boring from what I've heard.
