Posted: 5/10/12 at 1:36pmNot sure who is playing Chaplin, but Michael Jordan's mustache is playing Chaplin's mustache.

Glad to see they changed the title (twice).
Even though there was already a musical called CHAPLIN.

I hope Ashley Brown stays with this. Her talent was not put to much use in POPPINS.
And Ron Orbach also, he's one of our great character actors.

"I hope Ashley Brown stays with this."
So do I. She is one of my favorite theatre actresses.

Glad to see this is finally making its way to Broadway. I liked this a lot when it was at the La Jolla Playhouse. The makings of a a really good musical were there. Looking forward to seeing what they've done with it.
Casting of Chaplin is key and they had better have Rob McClure reprise the role. His character portrayal was Chaplin perfection!
As for Ashley Brown I like her too but she was wasted in this show. Her role was very small at the beginning and when they brought her back at the end to be with an older Charlie it was a bust! Unless they have her play multiple roles as frequently done in plays I say no to her returning.
Jenn Colella who played the despicable Hedda Hopper needs to return. She had the best song in the show that I saw.

I am surprised that no one has posted about the newly announced cast members. Here they are:
"Jim Borstelmann as Alf Reeves, Jenn Colella as Hedda Hopper, Erin Mackey as Oona O'Neill, Michael McCormick as Sennett/ McGranery/Emcee, Christiane Noll as Hannah Chaplin, Zachary Unger as Young Charlie/Jackie and Wayne Alan Wilcox as Sydney Chaplin.
The production will also include Justin Bowen, Emilee Dupr, Sara Edwards, Leslie Donna Flesner, Lisa Gajda, Timothy Hughes, Ethan Khusidman, Ian Liberto, Rene Marino, Michael Mendez, Sarah O'Gleby, Hayley Podschun, Adam Rogers, William Ryall, Eric Santagata and Emily Tyra."
I guess Brown was unvailable and is working on another project. I do like Mackey though and I am also a fan of Christian Noll.
Broadway's Chaplin Will Lean On Christiane Noll, Erin Mackey, Michael McCormick, Jenn Colella; Cast Announced

Posted: 7/11/12 at 11:30pmHA! I almost said "why isn't he famous (except for being called naked guy)?" He's insanely talented and has a fantastic singing voice. According to my casting sources he's almost gotten countless lead roles but loses at the final callback. It's a shame. I find him dynamic, talented, and SEXY as hell.

What was the critical response to the show at LaJolla? The ads and clips don't exactly do it for me, but obviously that doesn't mean much

I'm beyond excited!!! I'm obsessed with listening to the demo album, I can't wait for the official recording.
Rob McClure deserves that Tony... I just hope this show finds it's audience, and doesn't close too soon.

Posted: 7/12/12 at 4:51pmHow come Ashley Brown is no longer with this? I know that she was in Show Boat after this, but that's over. I wonder what she's doing now.
