CLOSER THAN EVER opens in L.A. area

For those of you who love small musicals like TL5Y, TTB, SFANA, etc. who live around L.A., good news! Maltby and Shire's CLOSER THAN EVER has opened in Anaheim to rave reviews. I saw their recent production of It's A Wonderful Life, The Musical. It was only so so, but when I met the real star of the evening (the lovely actress with a beautiful voice who played the Donna Reed role), she told me she was in rehearsals for CLOSER. (She's the one in the third picture above.) I got the CD and fell in love with the wonderful Maltby Shire songs, went online and reserved a 1/2 ticket with Gold Star.
