Did anyone see the play on Broadway?
I think it's one of the best written plays of all times.
Any comments?

Well, if we had seen it, it would've been years before the movie came out so if anything it would've been weird to see Clive as Larry, which I'm sure is what some people who saw the play first think now.
Ok, that sentence made no sense, lol...

Saw it in London and Broadway. It was amazing. Clive is the man!! Ciaran Hinds was incredible. Richardson was awesome on Broadway.
However, i have to say my favorite production was the Taper Forum production with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Rebecca De Morney.

SPOILER REQUEST
I have read that the published version, the Broadway version, and the movie have substantial differences, particularly in the ending. Could someone who knows more shed some light? Thanks.

Posted: 10/24/06 at 9:50amWe did a production of Closer last year at the Times Square Arts Center. The ending in the movie is definitely different with regards to the character of Alice. But I won't say why so it doesn't spoil it for others who haven't seen the movie or read the play.
