Now that she is going to be in But I'm A Cheerleader! Will she be departing the Hairspray tour? If so, when and who will be taking over? Thanks in advance!

I was wondering the same thing. She was great as Penny in Hairspray.

From the offical Hairspray board:

Yes, Chandra will be leaving us after her last performance on September 4. Our new Penny will be Caissie Levy, who has been playing Tammy in the ensemble. The new Tammy is Hayley Alyse Podschun.

BTW, on September 6, we will also have a few other new cast members:

Amber - Tara Macri (from the Toronto cast)
Link - Aaron Tveit
Inez - Naturi Naughton
Shelley - Amy Hillner
Tracy standby - Christine Danelson

And, for the record, we'll have new Turnblad parents on August 30. John Pinette and Stephen DeRosa are moving to the Broadway cast; the new Edna and Wilbur are J.P. Dougherty (who filled in for John for a few months this summer) and Jim J. Bullock (who's been playing Mr. Pinky on Broadway).

Aw, Natalie Hill (Shelley) is gone, too. I liked the way she sang the bridge after "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now". I'm sorry I didn't go and see their last performance in DC.
