I just bought the Original London Cast of this show, and I am loving it on the 1st listen, it's so magical, the singers are really brilliant, and of course Sarah Brightman hits all these amazing notes. I recommend it to everyone! A wonderful fairy tale.

It's not a great show, but I've always found it endearing. The recording is something of a guilty pleasure of mine. I especially like:

Perfect Harmony
Nightingale
Charming
A Singer Must Be Free
We Are China

I haven't listened to it in ages and need to revisit it. I do remember Strouse's lyrics being rather weak, but many of his melodies are rather nice.

Thanks Matt for posting the picture of the CD! I am loving it so far, the voices are just outstanding!!!
