I've been hearing about the infamous Cheno mess up in Wicked...what exactly did Kristin do?
During No One Mourns the Wicked she started singing parts of the Tony Awards Opening where she introduced Hugh so she screwed up the words for a line or two but got right back on track.
Haha. When was this? Before or after the Tonys?

she sings
"let us rejoicify that goodness to see us through"
awkward pause as she realizes what she did
"th-...the wicked witch named you know who"
Not exactly what she sang at the Tony's.
I think this was before the Tony's. Maybe she came from rehearsal or something that night?
that's not the only time she messed up. c'mon. the two of them were goofing off all the time. this topic is too broad. I suggest doing a search. when cheno and idina were in the show there would be agonizing daily reports of goofs and ad-libs...

LMAO. So true.
Agreed, from what I've heard, the original cast (mainly between Kristin, Idina, and Norbert) had the most trouble staying in character.
I think Shoshana and JLT take the cake.
It seems they always break character or have random giggle fits over really small things.
To tell you the truth, every show has a few mess ups. By the way, it it a little bit late to be posting this.

Yeah, way late. Be more specific. There are a lot of line flubs and such. It was on 6-04-04, the Friday right before the Tony's on 6-06-04.
"Let us be glad! Let us be grateful!
Let us rejoicify that goodness...to see us through
The wi...the wi..icked witch that, you know who!"
There was a time limit?
Duh!
::sighs::
Gotta go, hopefully Ebonic_Singer will be able to manage on his/her own-
(By the way, I'm just joking! )
-and no one will need to teach him/her the basics... Usually a BWW legend would already know them... (lol)

I heard a clip of her little mess up (think I still have it actually)-- gave me a good laugh, as all bloopers do.
One time when I saw Wicked, in "The Wizard and I" Carole Shelley completely improvised through the beginning. It actually was pretty clear to people who were seeing it for the first time and it was pretty off key and bad.
