Hey all,
I have a question about this item:
http://www.footlight.com/product.cfm?product_id=36250
is it worth buying this if you already have the Neuwirth/Reinking recording of the show? Are the other cd and the dvd worth it to rebuy this cd? I found it for $18.99 and wondering if it's a good purchase or not.
Thanks

The DVD is pretty nice. The second disc isn't really anything special.
Otherwise I'd only recommend it for die hard fans of this score/show. The booklet is also wonderful.

The DVD was pretty good (though I wish that the "Making of Chicago" doc that was on Bravo TV was on there, even though it covers the London cast with Ute Lemper).
The second CD icludes 3 songs you should already have (and one song you might have if you collect foreign language cast albums) if you are a die-hard Chicago fan. None of the other performers (Lynda Carter, Brook Shields, John O'Hurley) are anything too special, but nice to have anyway.
The large format booklet inside (non-removable) is great too, as it includes all the usual promo pictures, but also promo pictues of many of the replacement and international cast members. Great if you aren't able to collect all the souviner programs.
