#1Chorus Line SRO question
Posted: 4/6/07 at 1:41pmI was thinking about getting SRO for Chorus Line this weekend. I've seen the show twice and standing isn't a problem for me but my friend that I'd be going with hasn't seen it. Is it a good idea to get SRO for it? What time should we get there to secure tickets or are they usually still available after the lotto? Thanks

Posted: 4/6/07 at 1:46pmI think standing room is an excellent view for your first time because that was what I did for my first time seeing it. I had to be at the theatre 2 hours before it opened and the tickets were gone half an hour after it opened. That was also for a Saturday night.

What Glory said.
Also check in with the box office. If it is not sold out completely, they will not sell standing room. Though currently ACL is doing fairly well, it does not always sell out.
Another possible advantage to standing room is that you might be fairly close to Zach, who spends a large amount of the show in the back of the house. Word is that on occasion, Berresse has had to cover his mike when an audience member decides they want to talk to Zach.
Good luck.
eta: re-read your message and saw you were talking about this week-end, which will very likely be sold-out.Standing room competition might be fierce. Let us know how it went.
