"Based on this exclusive clip below, Christina Aguilera looks to be hitting a major high note in 'Burlesque,' the film that marks her highly anticipated (and, by the looks of it, awesome) acting debut.

In the film, the Grammy-winning superstar plays Ali, an aspiring singer who moves to Los Angeles with the hope of becoming a big star. She lands a job as a waitress at The Burlesque Lounge, owned and operated by Tess (Oscar winner Cher), and quickly takes center stage as the club's top performer. But, as with many cases in show business, Ali learns that the road to fame isn't always -- wait for it -- what a girl wants.

In the clip above, watch as Christina puts her own stamp on 'Something's Got a Hold on Me,' then be sure to check out 'Burlesque' when it hits theaters on Nov 24."

Christina putting "her stamp" on the song led to some of the most boring 3 1/2 minutes I've spent in a very long time.

Pffft, whatever. One of my favorite contemporary singers doing a song by my favorite singer of all time. My ears are VERY happy.

Great song sung beautifully... but could that have been the most boring and uninspired "clip" I've ever seen? Yes.
