Posted: 11/28/05 at 6:04pmHmm...she can definitely handle it vocally, but she is too old for this character (she's supposed to be, I'd say, in her mid-late twenties). But then again, in the huge NYCO house, most people won't be able to tell!

They also cast Rosabella older in the Broadway revival (and tour) as well. I'm not exactly sure why. Jo Sullivan was fairly young in the original. It makes the story's May-September relationship work better.
This way it's just August-September.
Lisa is outstanding vocally. Can't wait to hear her sing those songs!
Have they said who's playing Tony yet? He's going to have to be amazing next to her.
