Just finished watching this *brillant* movie again! After watching the whole movie including deleted musical scenes, I decided to watch the "making of". During the interview footage, they showed some deleted dialoge from the 1st scene at the airport. It goes like this:

"We love Yentel because we both lost our fathers...in a baking accident".

Sondheim reference anyone? I couldn't believe it myself!

After I saw this movie, I just had to pick up MAME {w/ Lucille Ball} (I had never seen the musical version). Though there was not a lot of "running" away from the bad guys, I liked this movie.

"You charm the corn right off of the husk, MAME." Ha ha! I love this movie! The best part is when the guy is so excited about seeing Rent and getting tickets to Hairspray.

"What a mystery this world. One day you love them and the next day you want to kill them a thousand times over." The Masked Bandit in THE FALL

I didn't think it was a great movie, but it is GREAT fun. I own it on DVD because I love all the snippets of Broadway songs done very poorly.

"Shut-up, shut-up, shut-up . . . your voice is giving me shingles"

". . . your voice is giving me cramps"

LOL

". . . POP . . ."

One of my favorite movies!

It doesn't stereotype all gay people....just Drag Queens. Anyone who watches it should know it's just in fun anyway.

"We have to go where they'll never look for us because there's no theatre. No dinner theatre. No culture at all."
*Thinks* "Los Angelos!"

I love Connie and Carla, especially the "Everythings Alright" from JCS bit.

There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.

I really enjoyed the film. It made me laugh out loudly several times. Plus, I am in girl love with Toni and Nia.

I thought this movie would be absolute crap, and I loved it. Same with Marci X.
