Anyone else think Curtains looks like a really great musical. A murder on opening night of the show. I am seeing it March 17th.

Dang, I thought this thread was about the valances I'm trying to find for my kitchen!
I've saw it a while ago in California and loved it so I hope you will too. Enjoy the show and let us know what you think!

I'll be there for the 3rd preview, and can't wait. Yes, I have really high hopes for this one,
It sounds really interesting.

I saw the last L.A. performance. Audience went wild. Except me. I thought the jokes were strained and the score low-grade K&E.
However, I hope it is a success.
I'm still hoping that THE VISIT will someday be produced on Broadway... now THAT is prime K&E.

Way to help it get there.

I really want to see this. I'm a big fan of David Hyde Pierce and from what I've heard and what I've seen with some of the photos, it looks really funny and he looks funny as well. I hope he gets nominated for a Tony this year.
I'm hoping for this to be on TDF for previews or maybe just have student rush.
agreed! very interesting! especially since i've played murder mystery games before.. and i always love those, haha!
i believe i'm going soon also! woohoo! =)

Rath-
It is not my responsibility to sell the show. I paid my money and I shared my opinion.
I seriously doubt my thoughts on the jokes and score will make or break it at the box office. If I had that kind of power SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE would still be running.
Also, If you read my post to understand it rather than attack it, you would have noticed that I mentioned that the audience went wild for it, so I'm clearly in the minority.
I encourage everyone interested to go see it. Share your opinion. Enjoy.

I'm tempted to post who did it.
Don't, please!

I won't.
I just wanted to know what a jerk or Rath feels like.
After that charming first PM, WalkOn, I'm not reading the rest. Might as well save your energy.
So the rest of you know, he pm'ed me "whodunnit." I already knew, fortunately, but for those of you who don't - you've been warned.

neddy, WalkOn didn't like my first post in this thread, and thought that warranted pm'ing me the ultimate CURTAINS spoiler, without warning me that that was what was inside.

He told you the person?!
WalkOn- Why would you do that? Honestly, if you gain any pride or satisfaction in ruining shows for other people then get off this board.

I had had enough of Rath's endless snarky responses to my post.
Why she is obsessed with what I say, I'll never know.. so I PM'd her with the culprite of CURTAINS.
She in turn, said I shouldn't "tangle" with her. I guess she has super human posting power on this board.
I suppose I can count on Rath to continue to respond to my posts like some pathetic stalker. But that is nothing new.
Gee this little is exchange is more fun than CURTAINS...

Why?
Rath and Walk,
Can't your mutual love of Oscar Hammerstein bring you two together?
Oh dear, WalkOn, you are a bit delusional. I didn't even notice WHO had posted that - I would have posted what I posted if Margo or Craig or best12bars or Miss Pennywise or anyone else had been the one to post what you posted.
I don't recall ever having responded to you before, I hadn't noticed you enough to have formed an opinion before your lovely PM this evening.
