In today's Newsday...
I can transcribe if anyone wants- its just a little article about her big number and how she changes 8 times in the song "Show Off" (I can't wait to see it). Had a cute pic too of the press rehearsal doing a high kick.

"Show Off" was my favorite part of the show! I'd love to read the article...would you mind typing it up?
FOSTER'S GOT MORE LAYERS
Sutton Foster changes costumes eight times during one song for her role as a movie star in "The Drowsy Chaperone," a musical comedy headed to Broadway next month. "I'm layered," Foster said yesterday at a midtown preview. "It's the most costumes I've ever been in for one show, let alone one song."
The number, fittingly, is called "Show Off," and Foster's quick-change wardrobe includes a toga, bathing suit, tennis dress, shawl and straitjacket. The actress, who won a Tony for the title role in "Thoroughly Modern Millie," endured 18 hours of fittings with costume designer Gregg Barnes.
"Chaperone," directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, is set in the '20s, as "Millie" is, and will play at the same theater - the Marquis.
"What's exciting about this is that it's a totally different character," Foster said. "I've always been cast as the eager young girl looking to the horizon. Now I'm the glamorous showgirl. So it's different - even if I am revisiting the flappers."
