So, I was looking on Amazon.com and they have two "Original Broadway Cast Recordings" of Damn Yankees. Are these two totally different shows? if so, would you recommend the newest recording? I'm trying to find a Christmas that my parents can get me thats easily found at like Barnes and Noble, so I can't get rare obscure recordings.

One is the original, one is the revival (1994).

The original Broadway cast -- with Gwen Verdon, Ray Walston and Stephen Douglass is by far the best. Get that one.

The it didn't say revival online. It just said "Original Broadway Cast" - Thanks though. I think i'm kinda over the score.
