The first performance of Everythings Turning Into Beautiful, starring Daphne Rubin-Vega, is tonight. It is produced by The New Group. Anyone else going? I'm very much looking forward to this. I'm so happy to see Daphne in these Off-Broadway pieces in small venues.

If only I had a way to get into the city tonight . . . but my sister would kill me if I went without her anyway. Sigh. Let us know how it is though!

I'm going tomorrow night. The show is produced by The New Group, which is one of the few consistently good theatre companies in New York; in the past few years, they produced the original AVENUE Q, ABIGAIL'S PARTY, AUNT DAN AND LEMON and HURLYBURLY, just to name a few. It should be excellent.
