G*d Bless. She was a wondeful performer- who also "outed" Marni Nixon's incredible dubbing work giving her the aclaim rightfully hers. A truly great Dame.

I love her role in "Tea And Sympathy" and "An Affair To Remember". It was surprising to read that she never had any troubles or disagreements with her directors. THAT's amazing. Rare is the actress of her class and bearing. from RC in Austin, Texas P.S. Joey Bishop and Deborah Kerr died within days of each other. Usually, these events "come in threes." re: Deborah Kerr, Lead in 'The King and I' Film, Dies at 86

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

R.I.P. Deborah. A great lady.

You see, obsessions are very personal things, they come from deep inside us, where we are open and vulnerable, which is why I consider them sacred, not to be belittled....PalJoey

"King and I" was one of the first movie-musicals I ever saw. Absolutley adore her.

I don't mean to show any disrespect, but when I found out she passed today, I was surprised. I thought she died a few years ago. Any matter, this is quite sad. She was a talented lady.
