"Tony nominee Deborah Rush is the latest addition to the starry cast of the upcoming revival of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, which begins performances Feb. 26, 2009, at the Shubert Theatre.
As previously reported, four-time Tony winner Angela Lansbury will play psychic Madame Arcati and two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole (Tony winner for Grey Gardens and 42nd Street) will be the ghostly Elvira in a cast that also boasts film star Rupert Everett ("My Best Friend's Wedding," "Another Country" and "An Ideal Husband"), who will be making his Broadway debut, theatre veteran Simon Jones and two-time Tony Award nominee Jayne Atkinson. Michael Blakemore, who directed Lansbury in Deuce, will direct.
Rush will play the role of Mrs. Bradman..."

Posted: 12/10/08 at 11:08amYay! If possible, this makes me even more excited for this revival. Deborah was always so funny on Strangers With Candy. I might have to pop in the episode where she's an alcoholic and relives her Peter Pan days to celebrate her return to the stage.

Posted: 12/10/08 at 11:08amThe article says that tickets will be available to American Express cardholders effective December 10, 2008, but I can't find any listing on any of the boards. Does anyone know how to go about this?

Posted: 12/10/08 at 9:47pmAccording to Telecharge, there'll be ROW AA as the front row of Center Orchestra? Is there even enough *room* to add another row? Last I checked, ROW A was front row... It's going to be CRAMPED as anything in that place.

This cast gets Better and Better.
I hope they whip this into high gear and do Noel Proud.
I can't believe this is Roopie's Broadway debut, could be a career highlight, very exciting.
