My fiance and I are heading to NYC for our honeymoon and trying to figure out what exaclty we should see. We're flying in the day of the Tony's so we'll probably go to that, but we also want to see Drowsy, Spelling Bee, Color Purple, Lestat, (we have tickets to wicked), and AvenueQ. Any suggestions which to see and which to leave out?

Leave out LESTAT. See SWEENEY TODD, DOUBT, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, THE HISTORY BOYS, or THE CAINE MUTINY COURT-MARTIAL instead.

I agree with leave out Lestat. Munk's suggestions are all amazing, and I'd add in Jersey Boys!!!

Yes, I forgot JERSEY BOYS - you must see JERSEY BOYS, as it is definitely the best new musical this season.

Spelling Bee or Avenue Q. Both are witty, charming, and laugh-out-loud funny.

SEE Lestat. See Avenue Q, Spelling Bee, Sweeney Todd, Light in the Piazza, Jersey Boys...how many shows CAN you see?

Well, they already have tickets to AVENUE Q, so that's pointless.

See SWEENEY, PIAZZA, and JERSEY BOYS before you see SPELLING BEE. It's cute, but SWEENEY and PIAZZA are brilliant.

They don't have tickets to Avenue Q, that was outside the parenthesis saying they had Wicked tickets.

You're seeing Wicked, see either Avenue Q or Spelling Bee for some amazing comedy, depends on what you want. Then if you want something brilliant...decide if you want an AMAZING love story (Light in the Piazza) or something darker (Sweeney Todd). I wouldn't categorize them together as....they're very different stories. Piazza is lush and romantic, but don't see it on a Tuesday or Wednesday night as you'll miss Victoria Clark who is truly NOT to be missed!!! She only does Wednesday matinees, Thursday Friday and Saturday now. Sweeney is dark with some amazing acting, and although i agree it's brilliant, I've heard is a little hard to follow if you don't already know the show.

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS!!!

you'll be laughing her heads off, and you'll see it before Norbert leaves! so worth it.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

I think Faith Healer will be good.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was ok. I enjoyed it, and Norbert Leo Butz was FANTASTIC and absolutely deserving of his Tony.

But everything else about it was kind of luke warm for me. If you want to laugh until you hurt, see Avenue Q. It's so much more special than Scoundrels.
