A great idea, me thinks.
Good chance of theatre availability, the tourists are around, so could make $1m a week.
Neither Fela! nor Hair sold well. Generally, if a show has closed it's because the market didn't exist any longer on Broadway. Even if the summer is relatively light (which I'm not sure is a fair characterization), tourists will stick to their staples like Wicked, The Lion King, Phantom, The Book of Mormon, Jersey Boys, etc. and if interested in something new will probably go for Matilda. I just don't see how a summer engagement will make financial sense.

That would be great. One forum is reporting that the tour is heading to Brazil in August. http://www.billyelliottheforum.me.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=4076
