For those of you who have seen Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on Broadway- is it a lot like the movie?
I was curious if they kept in the scene in which Steve Martin's character is in the wheelchair and pretending his legs are paralyzed? Is that part still in?

Well, it hasn't opened on Broadway yet, but I do believe that such a storyline is involved in the stage production. That would explain the song "Love is my Legs", I would think. Hilarious song, by the way. Updated On: 11/30/04 at 02:28 PM

I love the movie and saw the tryout down in S.D.
Yes, it's in there, as well as the bit with the 'slow' brother.
It's very true to the movie...
Some haven't, but I thoroughly enjoyed the musical. Lithgow and company were in top form, and the audience when I was there was in stitches.
I hope it has a healthy run on Broadway. Go see it, and just enjoy it for pure laughs and a good time!
Yes, I meant the run in San Diego. Seeing that the wheelchair scene is still in it (like the film), it should be very funny.
Is Norbert Leo Butz's character tickled on his foot to test to see if his legs are paralyzed?
I'm so excited for it, I can't wait!
