I'm very disapointed. He dropped out of MACBETH to do this show and now I won't be seeing him in this, either.

Perhaps he only enjoys the rehearsal process.

I was so looking forward to you being in another show on Broadway...

WHY GOD WHY?!

It seems I am never going to be able to see him perform (I have tried twice and this would be # 3)

I need to go cry in a corner now.... Very dissapointed. I love Douglas Sills and was excited to see him in a show that promises to be quite a funny one.... Ok, off to my corner then....

I agree with everyone...how upsetting!! I was really looking forward to him doing this, I thought he would be great...but I guess if something isn't working out, it was good for him to realize it was better for him to leave for the good of the show. I respect that.

True that Douglas pulled out of 'Macbeth',but I thought that I had read that it was to work on the following film.

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0367652/

Hope that gets you there. Not much at doing links.
I had seen Douglas in Little Shop many times and he was fantastic. Also a very nice person.
Was definately the main reason that I was looking forward to seeing 'Spamalot'.
Their Loss...I certainly hope that he gets back in something real soon.He is a great performer.

Very, very upset about this. I was incredibly excited to see him in this show--I thought it would be a PERFECT outlet for his talents! I, like all of you, just hope he joins another project--fast!
