Im really surprised how badly this is doing at the box office - around 50% most weeks and always at TKTS. The publicity hailed it as the return to Broadway of the legendary Angela Lansbury but nobody wants to see it. Im thinking it wasnt the wisest choice of plays for her.

The reviews have been hideous, but they do not fault the actresses. Word of mouth has been terrible too. The only people going are those who want to see these legendary actresses. People wanting to see a well- written play are finding it elsewhere.

"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal "I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

You'd have no reason to be surprised if you saw it.

It's just a message board. Let's not take it too seriously.

I think she means facetious.

"They should have put her in Mame!"

The last time she played Mame on Broadway it was a FLOP too.

Is it true she's not remembering her lines on a nightly basis?

The night I saw it she had her lines down perfectly well. The problem is that the play is the worst-written piece of dreck ever. How could this play have gotten this far in this shape?
