This is a lady who's been doing this for longer than most on this board have been alive - she's well aware of the ups and downs and has dealt with many of them. I'm sure it's not fun, and it's definitely frustrating, but she's probably dealing with it better than someone younger with less experience.

True. Though rather hatefully, Bernadette was even though that week ended up being the only performances she missed for the rest of the run (save one pre arranged personal day). Nobody remembers THAT part of her story.
But this is about Dame Eileen.

First off, I've stopped reading anything that Rath posts. I find that she's a very bitter person.

I hope Dame Atkins feels better soon. She is an amazing performer (who I have a feeling will win that replacement Tony).
