Signature Theatre artistic director Eric Schaeffer will direct the classic musical with choreography by Warren Carlyle.

(Okay, I apologize for the SedgeWECK -- and correct it -- but the Kyra/Keira thing, well, who can keep 'em straight?)

Bacon was in a band, so I assume he can. He looks like a weasel-y buddy. And KYRA looks like an ex showgirl. Ever seen her in person? Stunning woman. And Phyllis doesn't need expert vocals, just good enough.

In the mid-70's, the theater in Nyack NY announced a production "with the original Broadway sets and costumes" ..... yeah, right. The horrors of this debacle are too numerous to mention .... we knew we were in trouble when it was MRS Weissman singing the opening number. It went downhill from there.

Betty White is completely wrong (and too old) for the role of Carlotta. She is definitely a Hattie.
