Fall Community Theater-Footloose

Ok, I'm auditioning for Grease at community theater with the song Frank Mills from Hair. I want to be Sandy. This same place is doing Footloose for the fall show. First, what part should I audition for? Second, should I just do Frank Mills or should I find another song?
