Hi everyone,
I'm not quite sure if this has been discussed or not (I tried to search but couldn't find anything), but I was wondering if anyone had heard whether Martin Short's show will be getting a cast recording. I'm not sure how many musical numbers there are or how things usually go for these types of shows, but after hearing a tiny clip of Capathia Jenkins' eleven-oclock number in the show (in the Broadway.com opening night video) I'm dying to hear more.
If you've got any information, I'd love it if you could share. Thanks!
that really is the only good song other than the encore.
i don't think this show will have a cast recording. though worse things have been catalogued.

Here's a thought: Maybe they could record the show live on the theatre soundboard, and then release it as an exclusive on i-tunes. Lately i-tunes has been selling live L.A. Phil. concerts, so why couldn't it be done with a live Broadway show? It would certainly be better than having no cast album at all.

Oh man, they should do that with everything. Like audio bootlegs, but legal! I'm so for it.

I swear, the first thing I thought when I left the theater after seeing this show was "I WISH they record it!" I enjoyed all of the songs very much even though, yes, the 11 o'clock number was my favorite.
