Fame Becomes Me Musical Reveiw Idea

Ok, I haven't seen Fame Becomes Me yet, but I was wondering, could at least some of the songs work in a Musical Review that could be licensed? From what I've seen, it seems that at least a few of the songs could be done this way. I LOVE what I have seen so far, and even if only a few songs could be lifted from the material, I think it would be awesome. I'm definitely not knocking the Martin Short-ness of the show, but I would love to see as much of the score as possible without ruining it preformed everywhere as a cohesive evening.

Pardon me if this is blasphamy, like I said, I haven't seen the show.

Its way to Martin Short. And the plot of the story is his version (albeit mostly fake) of his life story. So I say it would never work without Martin.

It didn't work with him or without him. It was ghastly. The songs were Forbidden Broadway cast offs (and I really like Forbidden Broadway). Geez what a wasted evening. At least the Company matinee was excellent.

I saw the show last Sunday, and thought it was terrific! I haven't laughed so hard since I saw Forbidden Broadway. The show was refreshing and creative.

This is a must see show before it ends it's limited engagement.

I thought It was excellent. Mrs Vampyre, the show is an open run and its doing well so hopefully it will stick around for a while. I do recall Martin saying on one of the late night shows (Leno/Letterman) that his dream is to break Cats' record...

and, by the way, it's spelled "revue" -- unless it's "Putting It Together," and that was a play on words anyway.
