So I thought I would take another trip to the Eugene O'Neill to see this show. The first time around, I saw some obvious flaws in the story line, but those seem to be fading away. I was hoepful.

First of all, I love that theatre. You can see from anywhere in the show and almost every seat is great. Pretty cool.

The principal cast is so much fun to watch and I can see them finding their characters. It's pretty cool to see something at the beginning of previews and then again a few weeks later. It's just neat to see all the changes that are going on. They are working hard to find this show's niche on Broadway.

The ending and the mega mix were wonderful this time around. The first time I saw it, I didn't really like the ending. Boy didn't get girl, but boy learned a lesson. This time, boy gets girl and learns a lesson. It's nice. It's pleasing. The mega mix the first time around was like a talent show. Which ensemble member can sing the best? But this time it was more of an extravaganza. I think they have found a way to get everyone to their feet. Loved the beach balls, for the most part.

Kate Reinders is just too cute. She's a joy to watch when she's on stage and you just can't take your eyes off of her. David Larsen is finding himself and navigating the character better now. I appreciate David's confidence on stage. Jessica-Snow has an amazing ballad in WARMTH OF THE SUN. Tituss Burgess has more charisma than Billy Porter and voice that soars over the audience. SAIL ON SAILOR is quite incredible. Brandon Wardell is also fun to watch and does a nice job with his characterization ... and I GET AROUND is pretty fun.

Did I mention that the ensemble is working out? They have beefed up and boy do they look good. So many standouts ... they'll be big stars some day.

Everything aside ... there has been so much negative flack circling this production. It's kinda sad, but these kids are in their own little world and they don't let what people are saying affect their performances. They are professionals and having a great time at the Eugene O'Neill.

Go see GOOD VIBRATIONS ... it really is a good time.

I want to see it again after it opens (if it does someday),
Do they still show the back of the theatre at the finale?
