Sorry, I did a search and everything but I just had one quick question. I have the opportunity to purchase 2 tickets for Partial View in the Gerswhin Theatre to see Wicked. Basically, I have the choice of anywhere on the right hand side of the theater (even #s). What is the best row to get a great view AND be close to the stage? Will being too close make it harder to see? How far back is too far back?
Thanks!!! Any help is much appreciated!

I'd be wary of partial view... even unobstructed view can be waaaaaay far away at the Gershwin. I was in row N near the left side, and felt like I was miles away.
Partial Viewing seats at Wicked are the best bargain on Broadway.

Partial view seats at Wicked are really, really good. If you can choose from anywhere, I'd say pick somewhere between B and F. If you haven't seen the show, try for closer to F, but if you have, closer to B should be fine because the little things you might miss won't bother you as much.
And also, it's good that your options are house right. It's much easier to see from there; on house left, there's a staircase that makes the seats a lot more obstructed.

not a waste and very worth it, even if you haven't seen the show... you miss close to nothing at all and you paid 50% less than the guy sitting next to you.

Best are rows G-L
I sat in row CC right partial view and the view wasn't bad at all, you missed a little bit but not not much
The Gershwin is a pretty nice theatre, and there aren't very many bad seats in that house. I say go for it.
