I recently found tickets in April for Wicked and grabbed them up since they seem to be hard to come by. However, now other tickets are popping up and I was curious your thoughts about seating and what's worth getting and worrying about selling my other tickets.
Right now I have row J on the right, seats 10 and 12
Now, row E on the right seats 2 and 4 are available.
Oh, and row L center, 114 and 115
I'm 4'7 (yes you read that correctly) and thought maybe an aisle seat would be worth it. I know I don't want to sit too close so the "magic" doesn't get spoiled.
Also, not to be a snob but if this is what they are releasing now, maybe I should wait for even better ones?
Thanks in advance and I promise to post something that's not a question sometime soon.
I think you should've gone with L center seats.I sat in center W, and they were pretty good.
I think you should go with Row E 2 and 4. Those are aisle seats, as are the ones you are pulling up for center orch row L (I think, or it might be 115-116). So why not go with the closer seats? You won't be too close to the stage.
mille_dillmount has a good point. That's 9 rows back on the aisle, since there are rows BB-EE . Either one is good.
Thank you both for your input. Now, row K 111 and 112 center are pulling up, as well as real close DD 1 and 3 but I think that's too close.
I searched to see if Gershwin's box office buys back tickets and people seemed to think they do.
I feel like I'm gambling, can't take the pressure
Even if they don't buy them back, you should have no trouble getting rid of them on the day of the show. There will be a cancellation line, for sure, and if the box office doesn't take them, someone on that line will surely want them.
Adam-Thank you for confirming that I'll be able to get rid of my tickets if I buy new ones. That helps take the worry out of it.
Still deciding what to do. I'm wondering if they'll open more up but then I worry I'm getting too greedy. If it's the first seat on the aisle off of center, that's almost like sitting center...right? *just say yes so I can stop obsessing*
i got tickets how are row g of the mezz on the left side? i have seen wicked like three years ago. i know its the biggest theatre.
if you want a great view of the whole stage go with row l of the orch but if you comfortable with the aisle go with row e seats 2 and 4. if you google gershwin theatre seating chart, there should be at least 4 charts.
Thank you for all the help
I ended up losing the aisle seats so I'm debating now what to do. I'm hoping they'll continue to release more tickets as it gets closer to the date.
I personally would go with the DD tickets if they are still available. I don't think they would be too close. Have fun!
