Hey, how ELSE would I have been able to see the original cast of THE PRODUCERS at it's peak just a couple of months after the show first opened on Broadway?
Thanks to (fellow cast member of THE PRODUCERS), for just $50 over the face value, I was able to take quite a bit of people to see the (then) hottest show on Broadway! Ticket brokers/scalpers were selling my seats for $1,400! I only paid $150 at that time.
What he's doing is done in EVERY show on Broadway...I promise you this. Alot of these ticket brokers/scalpers also have contact with certain cast members. This supplements the actor's income quite nicely if they're in a top show.

Posted: 12/17/06 at 12:35pmDoesn't really surprise me. I've seen him at the theater before and he stood in front of the stage door as if he owned it. He also chatted with a woman before exchanging numbers with her, which was very skeevy. The guy who handles things at the stage door (who is one of the nicest guys I've met) seemed to only tolerate him which was interesting.

You beat me to it Yankeefan.
I have a question about scalped tickets. If the show is supposed to be sold out wouldn't the person who bought the scalped tickets be thrown out of their seats when the people who really bought the tickets show up?

He probably has real tickets.
That's sad, though.

Anyone can 'scalp' tickets. If you bought tickets and later resell them for more money -- you're simply 'scalping' tickets.

He's already been arrested once.
If that juicy detail were true, don't you think Reidel would have reported it? It just sounds like the kind of thing he would want to include.

Posted: 12/17/06 at 6:11pmThat's sad. I never knew much about any of this until this article. If it is all true, it is just sad. I do not like people who do not make something of their own life but instead expect people to give them things (in this case because of who his father is).

This is truly very sad.
I was shocked when I read
this. I certainly have no
respect for someone who is
trying to make money off of
someones fame. If he wants to
make money, why not do it the
honest way and show your
daughter the right way in the
world to earn a living.
I'm shocked! I happen to be a
huge fan of Jersey Boys and I
can't believe this is happening
and no one is doing anything
about it. How said this is!
