Not available online, it's the one with the 2nd Annual shopping awards jeans-clad butt cheek on the cover.
By the excellent Adam Feldman, who cleverly describes her recent triumph in the Encores CAN-CAN: "critics lined up to sing her praises like the waiters in HELLO DOLLY! begging the lady in the red dress to never go away again." Lupone originally wanted to devote her upcoming three-week run at the (hatefully overpriced) Feinstein's to bluegrass music (!!!) but at Scott Wittman' behest settled on torch songs, including "Something Cool" and "I Had A Little Sorrow" (introduced by the dreeeeamy and underrated June Christy) and a song Patti "coyly identifies only as 'the Sicilian National Anthem'."
DAMN, I wish I had money to see this. But $150 for a cabaret show - even for Patti - is too much for me now.
