HAIR Opinions

I got tickets to HAIR for Christmas and I went to the review boards all over the Broadway Cyberspace (including here) and I got some incredibly mixed reviews ranging from outstanding to complete waste of money (yea, the gamut is that big)...

I wanna know what you, the live living breathing people of Broadwayworld.com, think about this show....

I think opinions are just opinions and you should form your own. Don't listen to anyone else's.
But since you asked, I loved this revival of Hair.

Hands down... the best production of a musical I've ever seen.

@muscle23ftl I will hve my own opinion formulated after I seeth show...but I just wanted to know whether I should be going into the theater enthused and excited or worried and wonderin why I have these tix.

I loved it. I want to be moved at the theater. I want to feel things, emotions that I would not have felt if I had not seen the show. I don't want to be bored. Hair does all of those things for me. Go and have fun!

Hair, I like it long, straight, curly, fuzzy, Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty, Oily, greasy, fleecy, shining, Gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen, Knotted, polka-dotted; Twisted, beaded, braided, Powdered, flowered, and confettied Bangled, tangled, spangled and spaghettied!

That being said, Loved it! IMO, It is more then a show, it is an experience. Hope you enjoy it too.

I thought that the production as a whole was very good. However I thought the actual show was abit of a let down, especially as I had been hyped up to believe this would be the best show of my trip. In fact I enjoyed next to normal/Rock of Ages/9 to 5/In the heights alot more than Hair.

I was first enthused to go see it when I was at their GMA concert last June (best...concert...ever).

Then I went online and saw that it was good, it was bad...it was never clear..

Thanks for your opinions...I will enjoy the show (hopefully everyone is there, its a Wednesday matinee)
