When did Lindsay Nicole Chambers and Michele Kitrell leave the cast?

I also noticed that Hayley Duff has now left (with very little fanfare).

Michelle left on Sept 17, not sure when Lindsay left. I believe it was within the past few weeks. Both are going into Legally Blonde

Thank you. I noticed that the only female swing left (according to their website) is Gretchen Beiber. Cameron Adams is gone, too. It's funny that Donna Vivino's picture is still up, even though she left the show. I hear that Lindsay was a great Penny understudy.

Lindsay left very recently, and Michelle left shortly before her (I agree, I think it was September 17).
Hayley Duff left without a lot of attention because she wasn't in the show for very long, and I don't think she was very popular, unfortunately. I also think the girl who replaced her isn't a huge name like Hayley is.

that may be true, but her name is fairly well-known, as opposed to (unfortunately) someone who is a broadway ensemble actor. that's all i meant.

why do people take everything so damn literally on these boards?

Wow, the micromanaging on nthis forum is amazing. I guess it's a new phenomena of the internet generation (not that there's anything wrong with this, it's just fascinating). SHows have changed cast members for literally decades and until the last few years, the only way to tell was to check out the lead actor's names. If they were in bold, they were famous and/or original cast. If they weren't, they were replacements.

Now we even discuss the swing and sub replacements.

I am somehow impressed.

Lindsay and Hayley both had their final shows on Sunday, 10/22. During the BC/EFA speech, Diana said goodbye to them, told them they would be missed, and wished them luck on their next projects.

HAYLIE isn't really a huge name. I think she wouldn't have been really known at all if it wasn't for her sister. She's probably popular around tweens but other than that I bet no one really knows who she is.

Lindsay Chambers is the best Penny I have ever seen, no doubt in my mind. I have never seen a more vivid take on Penny, nor a more wonderful change in her character from beginning to end. And her voice ... Whoa! Everything about her was as close to perfection as I have seen.

Lindsay has always been Hairspray's hidden treasure.... she will be missed. I wish her nothing but the best in her life and career!
