"Bounce" rehearsals going o.k. in Chicago except Hal Prince leaves around l:00 in the afternoon and usually doesn't return.
Odd...
Must be a busy man.

#3--but what time do they START?

..if they start at 11 AM and he leaves at 1 PM...he's probaly back at the Ritz Carlton Chicago (A Four Seasons Hotel) reading scripts! The one song shown on TV here in Chicago (my summer home) was a dog!
If they, on the other hand, start at 7 or 8 AM and he leaves at 1 PM -- he's probably got a "nooner" scheduled with a Chorine!
(Speaking from personal experience....aha!)
So are you--dear, Issame, -- in on the rehearsals...tell us more...
Is Richard Kind gonna be kind to us / good? And Miss Jane Powell?
PS: Seems more tickets were released this week via GOODMAN THEATRE'S site! Main floor first five rows available for some nights!
As ever,

I know that when I met him, it was only a matter seconds before I was experiencing uncontrolable drooling and sweating. It HAS to be the voice. Though the body isn't sore on the eyes either.

Things going well in Chicago - or about par. "Finishing the hat" is the issue (i.e. finishing writing the score)...but this is common out of town.
Can't give much more info as I have been in London all last week checking out "Springer". Producers from all over the world here in London and more coming in this upcoming week to check it out.
Despite some American critics already claiming it is too crude for American general public audiences (whereas they claim the Brits always seem to love anti-American pieces such as this and the new George W. satire show), some of the leading U.S. producers on hand are declaring it will be a major worldwide hit of epic proportions which can play anywhere...and these are producers of very serious American theater, not just fluff.
I'm in the middle - love it but also truly wonder if the general public will be able to stand it. It will certainly be a cult hit... but is that enough to recoup in a $10 million Broadway musical (after all, the cult hit "Rocky Horror Show" lost its $5 million capitalization despite running a year or so).
Jack O'Brien here directing his new play at the National too.
