According to Hugh Jackman from the "Driving Miss Daisy" red carpet, there's going to be a workshop of the new musical "Houdini" in January. He also said he's "working on two or three things" and mentions a possible "Carousel" movie.

Will this be the Danny Elfman Houdini musical, or the Mika Houdini musical? Rumors have tied Jackman to both.

The Mika one is the movie musical "Greatest Showman on Earth". This one with Danny Elfman is the Broaday musical.

While researching at the Library of Congress once, I discovered that the rare books I sought were part of their Houdini Collection, having belonged to him.

Houdini was a great collector of books on mediums, Spiritualism, psychic phenomena and the like, though perhaps more as a skeptic or debunker. And yet, it was almost a passion of his to try to find a door to the netherworld.
