I'm probably going to one of her book signings and I'm just wondering how everyone who already went liked it,if they have any comments or anything else?
The one tonight at the Paley Center was fun! She talked for about an hour and a half before she signed. Kathleen Marshall moderated and they talked about her career, mostly, but other things, too. She took a couple questions from the audience. They played some clips of her TV appearances, musical performances, and the Funny or Die bit. Then she signed for everybody, even though it ran later than scheduled, and was super nice and sweet and talked to each person she signed for.
I don't know how other book signings will go, since the Paley Center was hosting it as a whole event, but Kristin Chenoweth is one of the sweetest, funniest, and most adorable people in the world.
Awesome! I'm going to the other one in New York so hopefully its like that!
I was there tonight as well. I agree, she is so funny, in a really cute way. I loved seeing all the clips from her career. And I am proud that I actually didn't chicken out on speaking to her. She is just that nice.
She was adorable on The View this morning. Even (awkwardly) addressed the "fights" between her and Idina.
I saw that too. I can't believe she had depression and talked about those things to the nation in her book! Can't wait to read it!
Her signing went incredibly smoothly at Bookends. She was really sweet and talked to everyone, signed anything, and posed for pictures. I gave her a little gift and asked if she'd sign my "The Apple Tree" Playbill. My mom just had to pipe in and say "My daughter sings and plays your music all the time. It's like you're living with me" and Kristin reached out to hold her hand and said "I'm so sorry". She was funny and polite and I'll stop rambling now because I'll end up telling the whole story.
