On Playbill, there's a short article about Sutton Foster leaving "The Drowsy Chaperone" today. That is not the point of my confusion.
It says that she's "expected" to join the cast of "Young Frankenstein." I thought she, Megan Mullally, and Shuler Hensley were officially announced. Did I miss something?

Maybe they wrote the article before she was officially confirmed and forgot to update it before trotting it out? Newspapers have obituaries written way in advance for older notables so they can have them ready very quickly, so it stands to reason that Playbill.com could do the same thing for stars leaving shows. ^_^
My god, but look at those legs. If mine were even half as amazing, I'd be a happy woman. *_*

I believe that Sutton Foster has not been OFFICIALLY announed to do the show, that's why the article said that.
There is much speculation (and obviously, many people know she's doing it) but as far as press releases go, there hasn't been one, yet.

Who is this Megan Mullally everyone keeps mentioning?
Is it that same lady who has that awesome talk show? She sings on her show, but how does having a talk show qualify you to be on Broadway? Can't wait for her 2nd season to start. I miss her show and they don't re-run the old shows until the new season starts.

Let's not forget that Mullally was on that little-known sitcom "Will and Grace."
(And I'm assuming that BrodyFosse was being facetious)

Who's Megan Mullally?
Who did she play on NBC TV's WILL & GRACE? There was Will Truman, Grace Adler, Jack McFarland, Karen Walker-Finster-Walker and Rosario Salazar.
Who did she play?

No, Foster, Mullally, and Hensley were all officially announced. They were the only ones that are official. There has been other speculation such as Roger Bart, Andrea Martin, etc. But those 3 were announced as definites back in early March.

Um...yes it is. It doesn't say "The New York Post speculates". The New York Post actually reported it. It's not the same as those articles that are like "Variety reports that a revival of

Even if it is correct information (my guess is they were probably taking it from Liz Smith's column and she is very "in the loop" with the Mel Brooks camp) it's not from the producers and I'm 100% positive that Playbill.com is on the press rep's contact list and they will not have to use a secondary source when the official announcement is made.

I remember that, when the show was out of town, the Variety review for "How To Succeed..." was a love letter to her.
I was surprised that none of the New York reviews that I read even mentioned her.

I visited William Ivey Long last Friday, and he said that the only role that has not been cast yet is Dr. Frankenstein. Heere is the list as best I remember it:
Megan Mullally: Elizabeth
Sutton Foster: Inga
Roger Bart: Igor
Andrea Martin: Frau Blucher
Shuler Hensley: The Monster
Fred Applegate: Inspector Kent/The Blind Man
I can't remember a single ensemble member's name. He had them on one of his boards. I'm glad Andrea Martin is going to play Blucher. Before I found that out, I was thinking that the lady who plays Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins would do a good job.
