I'm pretty sure some things are missing from the revival CD, but it does have "Our Little World" which wasn't in the original Broadway production, but then the OBC has an extra verse in one of the songs that was cut prior to opening... I can't remember which one. The OBC is NOT a 2 disc set. It just depends on which cast you like best. For me I adore Vanessa Williams in general so she can do no wrong in my book. Bernadette is great too, but the real star of the OBC was Joanna Gleason. I dunno... get both. Or get the revival CD and the OBC on DVD...

Posted: 2/28/06 at 8:27pmI think the confusion is coming from the fact that the OBC was issued in a double CD jewel case - with the CD being in one compartment and the booklet being in the other. It wasn't actually two CDs.

Well, the revival has some extra dialogue - such as the Prologue is longer...
There were some lyrical changes - such as LAST MIDNIGHT (it isn't a complete solo as on the OBC and there are different lines).
Also the tracks were split up (Your Fault/Last Midnight were together on the OBC).
HEY, LITTLE GIRL is a duet between the two princes for the revival.
The cast, overall, doesn't come close to the OBC's. However, "rap" aside, I do think Vanessa brought a haunting sexiness to the role. Bernadette played the comedy more, but also did a great job. Plus, her rap cannot be beat.
