Celia, now playing off-broadway, tells a beautiful Latino story told by a male Latino voice.
It has beautiful Latino music and flavor, is based on TRUE story, and at its center, a touching romance.
Highly recommended.

I've seen both. The music is great in Celia, but the story telling is a bit 'theme park' narrative-wise. The 'singing' Celia in particular is fantastic and the band rocks.
In The Heights is a much different, but equally entertaining show.
