No real surprise here, but this was just posted on playbill.com
The Roundabout Theatre Company's hit revival of Assassins will extend its run until early October, star Michael Cerveris said backstage at the Tony Awards ceremony.
Cerveris, who won the 2004 Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, said he would remain with the show through the extension, taking a few days off only to perform Sunday in the Park With George with Audra McDonald and Patti LuPone at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago.
The Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman show, which netted some of the best reviews of the seasons, was to have ended its run at Studio 54 on July 4.

This is great news! They won't have any problems selling tickets now (not that they did before)
