Does anyone know how long JB will be in NYC? I know it is booked until at least Sept 2007, but how much longer if anyone has a clue?

Well it's selling out nightly, so for at least a couple more years.

It's doing pretty well so it should be around for awhile.

I wouldn't say it will be the next Phantom, but I do think it will run for a good number of years. At the rate sales are going, it should be on Broadway for a while.

As long as the replacements for the OBC are excellent and well recieved, i'm sure it will run for years.

I really don't think it's going to end any time soon, and as far as the replacements go, they pretty much have replacements that are excellent and well received. I'm referring of course to Michael Longoria who I just saw this past Wednesday as Frankie Valli and I think that he should be the next Frankie after John and I also liked Dominic Nolfi as Tommy Devito.

Sadly, I doubt they'll bump up Dominic Nolfi or Matthew Scott, because both of them cover 3 of the 4 leads, and it's easier to bring in someone to learn one part than for someone to learn 3. Matthew was also a phenomenal Tommy, and it sucks. However, I do think the show will be around for a very long time.
