Janis Joplin rush?

Hey, all --

Has anyone tried rushing this lately? I have a friend coming into the city on Saturday and I'd love to surprise him with a pair of the front row rush seats for the matinee as he is a huge Janis fan. Does anyone know how early I should get there? Would 9am be early enough?

I rushed last Saturday. I got in line at 9:30am and got a ticket for the evening show. It wasn't a long line at all.
