I happened to stumble (literally) on some old american idol tapes that didnt watch at all, and I came across this girl singing Lennon's Imagine so beautifully. an absolute immaculate rendition, then i watched her sing I have nothing. incredible. and i tried to think about her playing Effie, hopefully in the film version, but maybe in a revival would be great. i hate the whole concept of american idol girls being The Dreams but she would be perfect. i urge everyone to pull out all the american idol tapes, go to aibyrequest.com and listen to the girl she's great!

Yes, she is amazing. I said it right from the start that this girl would have a great career on B'way - especially if they brought back Dreamgirls. She is perfect for the role. She has the look (especially with the eyes) and the voice...
I was upset that she kept getting in the low category, because, (IMO) I thought she was ten times better than Fantasia...
